Introduction
Chamomile is a common name for several daisy-like plants of the family Asteraceae. Chamomile essential oil extracted from chamomile flower is very popular as a cosmetic and pharmaceutical product, because chamomile can help sleep, relieve inflammation and pain symptoms, relieve the effects of insomnia caused by neurological itching skin.  

Chamomile extract apigenin belongs to the compound of flavonoids, almost insoluble in water, partially soluble in hot alcohol, soluble in dilute KOH solution. Apigenin exists in the form of plant yellow pigment in many plants, such as chamomile, honeybee flower, Perilla, verbena and yarrow. Chamomile can relieve burns, blisters, inflammatory wounds, hypersensitive skin, and general allergies etc.
Application

Anti-oxidation; Anti-inflammatory;

Used as a mouthwash against oral mucositis;

Tranquilizing and allaying excitement;

Lowering blood pressure;

Curing sore stomach, irritable bowel syndrome, and as a gentle sleep aid;

Having acaricidal properties against certain mites, such as Psoroptes cuniculi;
