Phloretin, mainly extracted from apple, pear and other juicy fruit peel and root peel, is a new natural skin whitener.
Phloretin can inhibit the oversecretion of sebaceous glands, and often use to treat hypersecretion acne. Phloretin also can inhibit the melanocyte activity and can be affected on different kinds of skin. Compared with arbutin and kojic acid, the same concentration of Phloretin has better effects on the inhibition of tyrosinase. When it was mixed with arbutin and/or kojic acid, the inhibition rate of the product to tyrosinase can be reached to 100%.
Phloretin can be used in facial masks, skin creams, lotions and essences.
